Merit Carwash, Commercial Solar Carports and Rooftop system
Merit Carwash a repeat client had recently opened an upscale carwash and was interested in providing shade for workers and customers’ cars as vehicles were hand dried under the intense Southern California sun.
Moreover, the client wanted to immediately cut costs at the wash and increase the potential resale value of the business. Given the limited roof space and desire for shaded parking, Solar Energy Builders was excited to design and propose a small rooftop system combined with two solar covered canopies.
After a smooth and efficient installation focused on not interrupting the client’s business, this auto spa saw it’s utility bill slashed by the moderate amount of solar installed, workers and customers satisfaction increased due to shade provided by the canopies, and an eventual large increase in property value upon the client’s sale of the business in 2023.
